Schistosomiasis: A risky malady?

Schistosomiasis: A risky malady? Human beings are very fortunate to be living on the planet as they toil over the land and in return they receive provisions off of which they live and as what I have noticed, they get all they need from the bountiful land hence for some reason feels like it needs to be altered thus here I am made not to help but to destroy them.

I am one of the devastating diseases for I infect hosts usually humans and cause a lot of complications. My head has enzymes that has the ability to penetrate the skin whenever it is intact and I do not only enter the body through open wounds.

As of now, I remain as a global health problem and I predominantly endemic in low income populations. Some Filipinos doesn’t have the right knowledge about me because instead of having proper medications, they follow a certain belief without medical proof.

I enter the body and eventually inhabit the blood vessel and will be transported to other parts of the body through blood circulation. People can actually avoid from having me simply by not stepping on warm waters such as rivers, swamp, ponds etc.

People recognize me as the disease of poverty which is true for informal settlers only think of having something to eat everyday not thinking of having proper sanitation’s and with that, most of them suffer considerably from major high blood pressure, seizures, bacterial infection, urinary obstruction, organ damage and death.

Ever wonder what kind of parasites are in the water or how can I enter into your body to make you very sick. I am caused by di genetic blood trematodes and is a tropical disease that ranks second only to malaria in terms of human suffering in the tropics and subtropics. I am schistosomiasis, a risky malady.

Man has, over the ages, been progressively moving towards a world and life of destruction but what most people fail to realize is that this destruction is not only the destruction of the world around us for it is also a systematic destruction of the universe inside ourselves.
